Five individuals lost their lives in a significant road accident that took place on the Greater Noida Expressway near Sector 146 on Sunday. The victims, named Aman, Devi Singh, Rajkumari, and Vimlesh were inhabitants of Kashiram Colony, Ghodi Bachhedi, Noida. The tragic incident involved their car crashing into a stationary truck.
The impact of the collision was so severe that it resulted in the car being dramatically mangled, causing instant chaos at the crash site. Local residents tried their best to help, and the police were immediately alerted to the accident.
Authorities faced difficulties while extricating the bodies from the wreck. All the victims were declared dead on arrival or succumbed to their injuries before making it to the hospital. The bodies were transported to the Knowledge Park Police Station and then sent for post-mortem examinations.
Consequently, the accident posed a great challenge for traffic management. However, the police managed to bring the situation under control post-seizure of the vehicles involved.
The victims’ families have been notified of the tragedy, leaving their relatives mourning their sudden death. Meanwhile, a case has been filed and further investigations by the police are underway.
