Vitalik Buterin’s Call for Focused Development
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently emphasized the importance of a privacy-preserving network in achieving Ethereum’s goal of being a censorship-resistant “world computer.” During his 2025 speech at Devconnect Buenos Aires, Buterin outlined vital Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), such as Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) and Block-level Access Lists (BAL), which are planned to enhance capacity and decentralization by the end of 2026.
