CarFest, the popular music and motoring festival founded by radio presenter Chris Evans in 2012, is set to move to a new home at Silverstone Circuit starting in 2026. This exciting change marks a new chapter for the festival, which has been held annually at Laverstoke Park Farm, with the exception of 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
Why the Move to Silverstone?
Silverstone, renowned for hosting Formula One’s British Grand Prix, offers unrivaled space and infrastructure to elevate CarFest’s experience. Chris Evans explained that this move will allow the team to introduce new surprises, accommodate more cars, and create unforgettable experiences while continuing their mission to raise essential funds for UK children’s charities. He shared, “This move opens up possibilities we’ve never had before. Silverstone gives us the perfect stage for the next chapter in our story.”
What Makes CarFest Special?
CarFest has grown into a fan-favorite event in the UK festival calendar, combining live music, motorsport, family entertainment, and gourmet food—all with a charitable focus at its heart. Since its inception, CarFest has raised millions of pounds for charities dedicated to helping children.
This year’s festival at Laverstoke Park Farm promises to be a celebration to remember, featuring rock band The Boomtown Rats, Scottish group Travis, and inspirational talks with top chefs and wellness experts. Evans encouraged fans to join in one last time at the current location and bid farewell to this beloved venue with a huge party.
