Kathy Griffin Unveils Stunning New Look After Third Facelift
Comedian Kathy Griffin has once again captured attention with her stunning new appearance post-surgery. The 64-year-old entertainer was recently spotted at the Studio City Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles alongside a mystery man, showcasing her rejuvenated look after undergoing her third facelift.
Clad in a casual ensemble of a vintage light pink Sonny & Cher t-shirt and a pair of navy pants, Kathy looked radiant. She accessorized her outfit with comfortable black sneakers, a blue crossbody bag, and peach sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun. Her bright red hair was styled in an elegant updo, complementing her fresh-faced appearance as she enjoyed a sunny day out.
Griffin’s Third Facelift: Speaking Candidly About Cosmetic Surgery
On her popular podcast Talk Your Head Off, Griffin recently confirmed her third facelift, adding a comedic spin to her journey. “Very taut is also very true!” the Emmy-winning comedian quipped, embracing both the humor and vulnerability behind her latest procedure.
“I know it’s so vain, but at the end of the day, my fans come for the laughs, not my face. But here we are!” Kathy shared. In addition to the facelift, her procedures included a blepharoplasty, foxy eye lift, and work on her chin, carried out by the renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei. Dr. Talei, praised by celebrities like Sia, has been at the forefront of top-tier cosmetic transformations.
However, Kathy didn’t shy away from addressing the post-op reality. “It’s painful. There’s no way around it,” she admitted. Known for her vulnerability, Kathy detailed her recovery process, which included the support of medical professionals and a touch of self-deprecating humor about rich-lady recovery procedures.
More Procedures and Life Beyond Surgery
Kathy’s journey with plastic surgery started back in 1986 at the age of 26 with a nose job. Since then, she’s been open about undergoing various procedures, including liposuction, breast augmentation, a brow lift, and more, many of which she’s hilariously chronicled in her stand-up routines. She even acknowledges challenges like a near-death experience during a liposuction procedure in 1999.
Plastic surgery isn’t the only area where Kathy is breaking boundaries. Known as the Guinness World Record holder for the most televised stand-up specials—an impressive 20 specials—Griffin has proven time and again that humor knows no limits. This November, she embarks on her new comedy tour, “New Face, New Tour”, starting with Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, following the success of her My Life on the PTSD-List tour.
Upcoming Projects and Personal Reflections
Beyond her comedy, Kathy continues to expand her creative repertoire. She voices the character Chastity Piranha in JB Ghuman Jr.’s animated pilot SPoRKartOON, set to premiere at the Hop Hop Film Festival in Harlem on August 24.
In her personal life, Kathy finalized her divorce from marketing executive Randy Bick earlier this year after nearly four years of marriage. Before this relationship, she was married to Matt Moline for five years. Despite personal ups and downs, Kathy’s charisma, humor, and ability to connect with fans remain unwavering.
Whether discussing her plastic surgery journey or cracking jokes that bring tears of laughter, Kathy Griffin continues to be a comedic force in show business. Her unapologetic candor about aging, fame, and personal growth cements her as an enduring figure in Hollywood.
