Authorities in Arkansas reported the discovery of two deceased individuals at Devil’s Den State Park in Washington County. The victims, a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were found on a walking trail in what is being investigated as a suspected homicide by the Arkansas State Police’s criminal investigation unit.
The suspect, described as a white male wearing dark apparel and weight-lifting gloves, was spotted driving away from the park in a black sedan, possibly with a covered license plate. Police indicated that the vehicle may have been traveling on State Highway 170 or State Highway 220 near the park.
The bodies of the victims are being transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for further examination to determine the cause and manner of death.
