Chennai: Fans of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar are celebrating with the release of the trailer for his long-awaited film ‘Good Bad Ugly’. On Friday, the film’s producers expressed gratitude to Ajith on their X account for his involvement in the project.
The trailer portrays Ajith as a retired gangster who is compelled to dive back into his troubled past. It also features Arjun Das in the role of a menacing villain, along with Trisha playing a significant character. Additionally, the trailer suggests a major twist within the storyline, fueling fans’ anticipation.
Earlier this year, in January, the film’s release date was made public by the makers. Director Ravichandran unveiled an eye-catching new poster of Ajith Kumar on X, presenting him in a stylish white suit, confidently seated with a pistol in hand.
In his post alongside the poster, Ravichandran announced, “#GoodBadUgly arrives on April 10th @MythriOfficial @SureshChandraa”.
Ajith Kumar was last seen in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, which hit theatres on February 6. This film, an adaptation of the 1997 American movie Breakdown, is an action-filled thriller following the story of Arjun (played by Ajith), who undertakes a perilous mission to rescue his wife, Kayal (Trisha Krishnan), taken hostage by a notorious gang in Azerbaijan. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ also featured actors Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian.
