A two-year-old boy tragically died, and a man was severely injured in a car park crash in Whitstable, Kent. The incident occurred at the Gorrell Tank car park on the junction of Harbour Street and Cromwell Road.
Police were alerted to the scene at 20:24 BST on Saturday after a collision involving a car and multiple pedestrians. Despite the efforts, the boy could not be saved, and the injured man was rushed to the hospital.
The authorities reported that a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Investigations are ongoing, and the individual remains in police custody.
