Comedian Theo Von encountered an unruly fan at his performance at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, last Saturday night. The fan’s behavior disrupted the show, prompting security to remove her from the venue, an event caught on video and shared widely online.
Fan Causes Disruption Near the Stage
Eyewitnesses reported that the female attendee appeared to be intoxicated and repeatedly ignored security’s requests to put her phone away. Despite the ongoing warnings, the fan’s argumentative demeanor worsened the situation.
Theo Von courteously interrupted his set twice to address her behavior, even offering to refund her ticket through his assistant if she peacefully exited. However, the woman refused to leave, which led security to intervene and escort her out.
A Dramatic Exit
Video footage from the event shows the woman, dressed in a white top, walking up the stairs with her arms raised amidst loud jeers from the audience. She appeared to sarcastically laugh at one of Theo’s jokes while being removed. According to reports, she allegedly punched another audience member during the incident. As of now, no video evidence has emerged to confirm this claim.
The Show Must Go On
The disruption forced Theo to pause his performance, but the comedian handled the situation professionally, prioritizing the experience of his audience. Following the incident, Theo Von performed another show the next day at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California, where fans hoped for a more respectful turnout.
The incident highlights the challenges performers occasionally face during live shows but also underscores Von’s professionalism in addressing unexpected disruptions.
