An encounter erupted between terrorists and security forces in the vicinity of Dachigam National Park, Harwan area, Srinagar on Monday. The Army’s Chinar Corps confirmed the incident stating a contact has been established in the Lidwas region under Operation MAHADEV. Security forces conducted an anti-militancy operation in Mulnar, Harwan, following intelligence inputs, leading to gunfire exchange. Reinforcements were swiftly deployed to intensify search operations as two to three terrorists are suspected to be trapped within the cordoned area.
