A student in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh had a heart-stopping moment when he unknowingly rode for nearly 2 kilometers with a deadly Russell’s Viper hidden beneath the seat of his motorcycle. The incident unfolded at a service center in the Civil Lines area where the viper was discovered. Despite initial warnings from bystanders about a snake near his bike, the student embarked on his ride only to find out about the perilous co-passenger later. Swift action by snake rescuer Akil Baba ensured the safe capture and release of the venomous snake back into the wild. This incident serves as a reminder of the diverse wildlife encounters we may face even in urban settings.
