Starting June 30, 2025, residents of the UAE applying for Chinese visas will follow a two-step process involving online application and in-person submission. The new system eliminates the need for paper forms, making applications faster and more secure. Applicants will receive preliminary approval and a Visa Application Certificate via email before visiting the visa centre in Dubai or Abu Dhabi for final submission. The revamped system aims to simplify the process and reduce paperwork, offering a more user-friendly experience.
