Shimla police successfully located three Class 6 students from a boarding school who went missing after a weekend outing. The children were found safe in Kotkhai, leading to the detention of one individual. The search involved 150 police personnel and coordination with neighboring states after alarming calls were received by the parents, who are politically connected, from a US-based number. Sub-Inspector Ankush Thakur of Kotkhai police station mentioned that all three students are safe and were traced near Kokunala in Kotkhai, with one person detained in connection with the case. The parents of the missing children, hailing from influential families, received distressing calls from a US-based number on Saturday evening, adding to the urgency of the search.
