
Saudi Arabia has initiated ‘Skills Week’ from July 13-19 with the aim to provide young people with job-specific training aligned with market requirements. The Waad Initiative’s Phase II plans to offer over 3 million training opportunities by 2028 while introducing a Sector Skills Framework mapping more than 8,500 skills across 12 sectors. The initiative is part of Vision 2030 to enhance workforce productivity and address skills gaps, with a focus on lifelong learning and market adaptation.
