Saudi Arabia has commenced the ‘Skills Week’ from July 13-19, a strategic initiative aimed at equipping young individuals with the necessary skills demanded by the job market. The ambitious Waad Initiative is set to offer more than 3 million training opportunities by 2028 with a new framework outlining over 8,500 skills across 12 different sectors. This initiative aligns with the Vision 2030 reform to enhance labor productivity and eliminate skills mismatches.
