Denis Manturov, Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister, is on a visit to India from November 11, participating in the Russian-Indian Business Forum and co-hosting an intergovernmental meeting. The visit illustrates the commitment to enhance trade and economic cooperation between Russia and India.
Manturov will kick-off his visit by attending the Russian-Indian Business Forum in Mumbai on November 11. The forum, organized by the Business Council for Cooperation with India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is intended to strengthen business relationships between entrepreneurs of the two nations, covering areas that include industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, finance, digital technologies, and interregional connections.
Subsequent to the Business Forum, Manturov will proceed to New Delhi to co-chair the 25th session of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGCTEC), along with External Affairs Minister, EAM S. Jaishankar, on November 12. The IRIGCTEC is the highest-level forum for bilateral economic collaboration between India and Russia, covering a variety of areas from trade to cultural exchange.
In addition to these events, Manturov’s trip will include several bilateral meetings, further emphasizing Russia’s dedication to strengthening its partnership with India across numerous sectors.
