Denis Manturov, Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister, has a visit to India planned from November 11 where he will take part in the Russian-Indian Business Forum. His visit grants emphasis to ventures of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Russia and India.
The forum, organised by the Business Council for Cooperation with India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), will focus on sectors including industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, finance, digital technologies, and interregional connections. Participants explore developments influencing cross-border business, investment environments and highlight the imperative role of Indian investment in industries like pharmaceuticals.
Following the business forum in Mumbai on November 11, Manturov will then proceed to New Delhi to co-chair the 25th session of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGCTEC) with the External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar. This forum represents the highest level of bilateral economic collaboration between Russia and India, covering a wide array of areas from trade to culture.
The visit will also include a variety of bilateral meetings, further asserting Russia’s commitment to solidifying its partnership with India across a multitude of sectors.
