Recently, he posted an update on the brand’s official Instagram account, showcasing a video of himself engaged in an unboxing activity. Dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, Ranbir walks into the frame holding a white box. After greeting the viewers, he dips his finger in red paint to draw the ARKS logo on the box, narrating ‘Up down left right’ as he does so. The video concludes with a close-up of the logo and the caption, ‘Unboxing soon.’
Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, shared the post on her Instagram Stories. The brand’s launch was previously announced through a visually engaging clip featuring Ranbir relaxing on grass, reflecting on the brand’s emblem and philosophy. The description of the post introduced him as the founder, emphasizing that he is not active on social media.
In past discussions, Ranbir revealed on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast that he had contemplated starting a brand for approximately ten years, driven by his passion for sneakers and sports. He expressed concerns about his market knowledge in India and a desire for a brand similar to ZARA or H&M in the country. On the film front, he is set to appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana as well as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
