On July 30, 2025, Oman’s OPAZ officially joined the World Free Zones Organization (World FZO), aiming to boost Oman’s global standing and investment appeal in alignment with Vision 2040. The move allows Oman to engage with 1,600+ zones globally, enhancing operational expertise and marketing strategies to attract sustainable investments. With 23 managed zones attracting over US $54.5 billion in investments by end-2024, Oman is on track towards economic diversification and growth.
