President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has enacted Federal Decree No 142 of 2024, establishing the Board of Trustees for Erth Zayed Philanthropies. The board will be chaired by HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes Affairs, alongside prominent members such as Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and other notable officials.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, expressed the UAE’s commitment to advancing humanitarian and developmental initiatives globally, reinforcing a culture of giving both domestically and abroad. He stated that the Board will enhance the UAE’s philanthropic ecosystem and collaborate with various entities to provide solutions benefiting global communities.
HH Sheikh Theyab highlighted that the foundation represents President Sheikh Mohamed’s dedication to uphold the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Board aims to ensure the ongoing impact of Sheikh Zayed’s mission, focused on sustainable development and community cohesion through well-thought-out initiatives and humanitarian programs.
Erth Zayed Philanthropies was established in November 2024, by Federal Decree No 126 of 2024, as an independent entity affiliated with the Presidential Court.
