The family of 17-year-old Hannah Osborn from Bradford, Arkansas, is making a desperate plea for her safe return after the teenager disappeared on the evening of August 9. Her parents fear she may have left with someone she met on social media, particularly Snapchat, just days before her 18th birthday.
Disappearance Linked to Social Media Activity
Hannah was last seen leaving her parents’ home at approximately 7:40 PM. Wesley and Crystal Osborn, her parents, suspect she may have encountered someone she connected with online. This concern stems from previous instances in which Hannah used Snapchat to meet others outside their small community.
“She’s had issues in the past with Snapchat and meeting people from out of town, but she has always come home,” her father, Wesley, told local news station KATV. On the night of her disappearance, Wesley also recalled seeing “some vehicles” near their road around the time she left. However, it remains unclear if Hannah may have entered one of those vehicles.
Cryptic Social Media Post Sparks Hope
Wesley took to Facebook in a cryptic but impassioned post, suggesting he may have information about his daughter’s disappearance. Sharing a selfie of the two together, he wrote, “It’s been a whole week since I’ve seen your beautiful face! I’m coming, and I’m bringing Hell with me. I know, they know, and everyone will know soon enough.”
He also urged whoever may be with his daughter to “bring my baby girl home” or at least allow her to call him. Wesley’s emotional posts emphasize that Hannah is not in trouble and pleaded, “We just need to hear your voice and know you’re OK.”
Family’s Search Intensifies
The Osborn family, along with local authorities, has been diligently pursuing every lead, searching relentlessly for the missing teen. Hannah’s mother, Crystal, described the situation as being “way out of character” for her daughter. “This is not Hannah,” she said. The family had plans to celebrate Hannah’s 18th birthday together, an event now overshadowed by fear and uncertainty.
Hannah is described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing 120 pounds. She has curly blonde hair, though Wesley noted she often straightens it. On the night she went missing, she was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and carried an orange and black backpack.
Community Support and Family’s Final Plea
The Osborn family has received support from their community as they cope with the unknown. Wesley continues to plead publicly, stating, “Hannah, call someone and let us know you’re alive. Come home, give us a hug, and tell us where you want to go—I’ll help you. We just want to know you’re safe.”
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Hannah’s whereabouts to come forward. The family vows to keep searching until they receive answers, no matter how long it takes.
