Abhay Nayak, a 41-year-old man from Luton, caused panic on an EasyJet flight en route from London to Glasgow. Nayak allegedly shouted bomb threats and political slogans mid-air, leading to an emergency landing. Eyewitnesses reported Nayak shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and claiming to have a bomb, along with other inflammatory statements. The flight landed safely in Glasgow, where Nayak was arrested and charged with assault and endangering the safety of the aircraft. Counter-terror police investigated the incident but no terrorism charges were filed. Nayak remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
