She thanked her supportive friends, saying, “Huge thanks to the amazing friends who’ve loaned me a car since November – forever grateful.”
This significant purchase comes after financial struggles tied to her divorce from British property developer Adam Ellis. The split left Lindy starting from scratch in Melbourne with her four children, leaving behind most of her belongings in Bali in search of a fresh start.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Lindy revealed that she left almost everything from her previous life, except for a few essentials: “I just brought back clothes, my coffee machine, and my Globe Kitchen knives which I’ve had forever as I love cooking.” The decision to leave behind her old life reflects her desire to embrace a less traumatic and more peaceful future.
Starting over wasn’t easy. She admitted arriving in Australia “super broke” with only two suitcases and her children: Stella (19), Rocco (16), Frankie (13), and Goldie – her stepdaughter from her former marriage to Adam. Renting a furnished house has been part of the steps to rebuild her life, adding that the process has also felt cleansing.
Finding Ground and Looking Ahead
Despite the challenges, Lindy looks forward to returning to her spiritual home, Bali, one day. She shared, “Bali is my home. My family still lives there, and it’s where I feel grounded spiritually. But I probably won’t go back for quite a while. I just need to settle into Australia and give it a little rest for a while.”
In the meantime, Lindy has started a new relationship with medical tech businessman Paul Mullert, describing him as “just a normal, nice guy.” Taking it slow, the couple has embraced a healthy approach to their budding romance, which officially debuted earlier this year.
