Maintaining fitness can be challenging, and for swimwear designer Karina Irby, a two-year break from her workout routine had a significant impact on her physique. Renowned for her body positivity messages on Instagram, Irby recently opened up about losing her motivation for exercise, admitting she gained 8 kg and resorted to binge eating during her hiatus.

Determined to reignite her passion for fitness, she shared her journey on Instagram, stating, “I stopped working out for two years because the fun was gone.” Her transformation includes signing up for a new gym, participating in an 8-week challenge, eating healthily, and reclaiming her energy.

Karina emphasizes that exercise is not merely about weight loss or aesthetics; rather, she associates it with reducing anxiety and promoting a healthier lifestyle. She is now focused on monitoring her physical needs and has adopted healthy habits, such as drinking 2.5 liters of water daily and aiming for five servings of fruits and vegetables. Additionally, she commits to achieving 10,000 steps each day while ensuring her body receives adequate rest.

Sharing her progress online has resonated with her followers, garnering over 18,000 likes and numerous supportive comments. Many fans express gratitude for her authenticity and are inspired by her journey, with some sharing their fitness successes influenced by her posts.
