The incident, which was widely circulated in a video, depicted Sugianto in a fit of rage, commanding a student to kneel and bark like a dog. The explicit display of arrogance incited anger amongst netizens who began to scrutinize Sugianto’s family business.
According to updates on social media on November 14, 2024, Ivan Sugianto is a parent at SMA Cita Hati Surabaya. Besides owning a gadget business, he’s rumored to own a nightclub business in Surabaya. The public is now calling on the police to investigate all of Sugianto’s nighttime entertainment businesses.
The case of Ivan Sugianto persecuting the student at Surabaya’s SMA Gloria 2 is currently being handled by the police. Police Spokesman Kombes Pol Dirmanto assured that the case is being handled by Surabaya Metropolitan Police and they have examined eight witnesses, including the alleged persecutor ‘IV’ who is reported to be a parent of one of the students of that school.
