At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers apprehended two young men in Hebron, located in the southern occupied West Bank, and seized a car. Reports indicate that Mohammad Hassan Nawaja was abducted from the Wadi al-Jawaya area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Additionally, the troops searched Nawaja’s home, confiscating his vehicle.
In another incident, Israeli forces invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, where they raided several homes in the Safa, Riyad, Beit Zata, and Ath-Thaher neighborhoods, resulting in the abduction of Mohammad Nidal Munir Ekhlayyil. During this operation, soldiers occupied rooftops and clashed with local protesters, firing live ammunition, tear gas, and stun grenades. To accommodate the invasion, the Palestinian Education Directorate postponed the start of classes in Beit Ummar until 9:00 AM.
On Tuesday night, soldiers detained numerous young men in the Jaber neighborhood in southern Hebron city, interrogating them while inspecting their identification documents. Earlier that evening, Israeli forces also detained two teenage boys and seized their car near Ramallah. Furthermore, they arrested six Palestinians, including a child, in the Tubas, Nablus, and Bethlehem governorates, while a Palestinian man was shot near Tulkarem, with three more detained in Qalqilia.
