My Journey with Yoga and Pilates

I remember my first yoga class like it was yesterday. I was a bit of a skeptic, but desperate to find a way to manage my stress and anxiety. As I laid down on my mat, I felt a sense of calm wash over me, and by the end of the class, I was hooked. From that day on, I made it a point to practice yoga at least three times a week. And then, I discovered Pilates. I was a bit intimidated at first, but once I started, I loved the way it challenged my body and engaged my mind.

Additionally, both practices have been shown to decrease the production of cortisol, the hormone responsible for stress and anxiety.
