Officials reported that eight children experienced seizure-like symptoms during a French youth choir concert at a church near Harvard University. Though not life-threatening, the children were taken to hospitals for evaluation. The incident occurred at St. Paul’s Parish in Harvard Square and did not affect the other 70 attendees. Emergency responders conducted tests to rule out hazardous conditions, and the buildings were cleared. The choir, Chœur d’Enfants d’Île-de-France, was on a U.S. tour and offered a mix of sacred, secular, and French music.
