A tragic incident occurred at an archery range in New Jersey when a lightning strike caused the death of a man and left 13 others injured. The incident took place at the Black Knight Bowbenders archery range during the evening hours. Emergency services were alerted about multiple individuals being struck by lightning, with CPR being administered on-site. Sadly, a 61-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, while another person was briefly unconscious. The remaining injured individuals suffered burns and general feelings of unwellness, with the youngest victim being just 7 years old. All those affected were swiftly taken to nearby hospitals for medical care. Weather reports had predicted scattered showers and storms in the area, with a severe thunderstorm warning issued around the time of the lightning strike.
