Emirates Skywards has announced a strategic partnership with HSBC Bank Middle East to launch two new cobranded credit cards in the UAE: the Signature and the Infinite versions. This collaboration will provide more than 23 million UAE members the opportunity to earn extra Skywards Miles on their travel, lifestyle, and routine expenditures, along with access to exclusive lifestyle experiences around the globe.

A significant highlight of this partnership is that all Skywards Miles collected on the HSBC Emirates Skywards Credit Cards will remain valid for the entire duration that the card is held. The agreement was formalized in an event attended by dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, and Sir Mark Tucker, HSBC Group Chairman, along with other senior executives from both organizations.

Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that Emirates is widely recognized for delivering exceptional value to its customers. He emphasized that the HSBC Emirates Skywards Credit Cards are an extension of this commitment, and he is thrilled to collaborate with one of the world’s leading banking brands. This partnership is expected to enhance the cobrand experience for members residing in the UAE.

The HSBC Emirates Skywards Credit Cards present a fantastic opportunity for customers to significantly increase their Miles earning potential, allowing for future spending on flight rewards with Emirates and partner airlines, flight upgrades, hospitality tickets for renowned global sporting events, and various other exclusive advantages.

Reflecting on the partnership, Dinesh Sharma, Regional Head of Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) for EMEA at HSBC, stated that the UAE has emerged as a global hub for travel and lifestyle, drawing in talented professionals from around the world. He noted that HSBC’s clientele consists of travel-focused, ambitious individuals who will benefit greatly from the new partnership with the acclaimed Emirates and Flydubai loyalty program. He added that the HSBC Emirates Skywards Visa Credit Cards serve as a gateway for customers to explore the travel and lifestyle benefits available globally, enhancing their international journeys.

HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite Credit Card

The HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite Credit Card provides cardholders with several exclusive perks. Members will receive complimentary Silver Tier membership status for the duration of the card. Additional benefits include a sign-up bonus of 20,000 Skywards Miles upon payment of the annual fee, and a welcome bonus of 30,000 Skywards Miles after spending a minimum of AED 50,000 within 60 days of card issuance. Notably, Skywards Miles earned with this card will not expire as long as the card is active. The card also offers complimentary beach access at luxury hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, access to special offers via the HSBC Entertainer app, a complimentary Careem subscription, discounts on Amazon and select cinemas, and discounts on international roaming charges through Airalo. Cardholders receive unlimited airport lounge access globally, concierge services via the Visa Airport Companion app, as well as discounts on booking.com and Agoda.

HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Card

The HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Card comes with its own array of benefits. Members are welcomed with 10,000 Skywards Miles upon payment of the annual fee, and those who spend a minimum of AED 30,000 within 60 days of card issuance will earn an additional 10,000 welcome miles along with fast-tracked Silver Tier membership. Renewal of Silver Tier membership is based on an annual expenditure of AED 180,000, including a minimum of AED 10,000 spent directly with Emirates. Just like its Infinite counterpart, this card ensures that Skywards Miles never expire as long as the card is held. Cardholders can enjoy exclusive offers via the HSBC Entertainer app, a complimentary Careem subscription, Amazon and cinema discounts, international roaming discounts with Airalo, and complimentary travel insurance. In addition, holders benefit from 12 free airport lounge accesses globally and discounts on concierge services through booking.com and Agoda.

With over 33 million members globally, Emirates Skywards enables members to earn and redeem Miles for a wide variety of rewards, including flight tickets on Emirates and partner airlines, flight upgrades, gift cards, holiday packages, duty-free shopping, hotel stays, and unique experiences that money can’t buy. HSBC Emirates Skywards cardholders can further enhance their Miles earnings by spending with their cards at numerous hotel, car rental, and lifestyle partners, including Dubai Mall, Skywards Miles Mall, Skywards Everyday, and Emirates Skywards Hotels.
