Bodyweight Cardio Circuit for Home Workouts

This circuit consists of 8 exercises, each targeting a different part of the body. The circuit is designed to be completed in 30-40 minutes, with 30-60 seconds of rest between each exercise.

  1. Burpees: 10-12 reps. Start in a standing position, then drop down into a squat position and place your hands on the ground. From there, kick your feet back into a plank position, then do a push-up. Quickly return your feet to the squat position, then stand up and jump up in the air.
  2. Jump Squats: 15-18 reps. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, then lower your body down into a squat position. From there, explosively jump up into the air, landing softly on the balls of your feet.
  3. Mountain Climbers: 20-25 reps. Start in a plank position, then bring one knee up towards your chest and quickly switch to the other knee, mimicking the motion of running.
  4. Plank Jacks: 15-18 reps. Start in a plank position, then jump your feet out to the sides, landing in a squat position. Quickly return your feet to the plank position and repeat.
  5. Squat Jumps: 12-15 reps. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, then lower your body down into a squat position. From there, explosively jump up into the air, landing softly on the balls of your feet.
  6. Lunges: 10-12 reps (per leg). Stand with your feet together, then take a large step forward with one foot. Lower your body down into a lunge position, keeping your back knee almost touching the ground. Push back up to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.
  7. Push-Ups: 10-12 reps. Start in a plank position, then lower your body down until your chest almost touches the ground. Push back up to the starting position and repeat.
  8. Leg Raises: 12-15 reps. Lie on your back with your arms extended overhead, then lift your legs up towards the ceiling. Lower your legs back down to the starting position and repeat.

To make the circuit more challenging, you can add weights or resistance bands to the exercises. You can also increase the number of reps or sets, or decrease the rest time between exercises.
