Dubai is all set for its 80th online auction of special vehicle number plates organized by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). From August 11 to 15, a total of 350 unique plates, ranging from two to five digits and featuring codes H to Z, will be up for bidding. Registration opens on August 4, requiring a Dh5,000 security cheque and a Dh120 fee for participation. These sought-after plates not only serve as identifiers but also as symbols of prestige and sometimes investments.
