Dubai is set to celebrate the Festival of Lights with an exciting lineup of Diwali events planned from October 25 to November 7, 2024, aimed at uniting communities throughout the city. Residents and visitors can look forward to immersive cultural experiences, comedy shows, musical tributes, theater productions, and a variety of free community events.
Organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the Diwali celebrations will kick off with fireworks displays at Al Seef on October 25 and at Global Village on October 25, 26, November 1, and 2, all at 9:00 PM. A standout event will be the Noor Festival of Lights at Al Seef from October 25 to 27, featuring artistic expressions, interactive experiences, and performances enhanced by stunning decorations and fireworks.
Additionally, Deepavali Utsav 2024 on October 26 at Etisalat Academy will highlight Indian folk dances and games for all ages, while Global Village will celebrate with Rangoli art and a vibrant marketplace from October 28 to November 3. Other exciting events include the Diwali Edit Fashion Luxury Exhibition and Romesh Ranganathan’s comedy show on October 25, along with various musical and theatrical performances throughout the festival.
