A standout feature of the celebrations will be a series of spectacular fireworks displays, which will light up the night sky in honor of Diwali. Families and friends can catch these dazzling shows at two locations: Al Seef on October 25 and Global Village on October 25, 26, and November 1, 2, all commencing at 9 PM.

One of the highlights of this year’s festivities is the Noor Festival of Lights, taking place at Al Seef from October 25 to 27. Produced by TeamWork Arts, this three-day cultural fair will showcase stunning lights, artistic expressions, and interactive experiences, all beautifully arranged amid festive Diwali decorations and fireworks.

The festival will offer a plethora of activities, including puppet processions, theater shows, poetry recitals, musical performances, and stand-up comedy, alongside painting and design workshops. Al Seef’s attractions, including a traditional souk filled with restaurants and boutiques, will provide a delightful backdrop for the celebrations.

Another significant event is the Deepavali Utsav 2024, slated for October 26 at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai. Additionally, Global Village will host its own Diwali celebrations, running from October 28 to November 3. Moreover, on the same day, the DoubleTree by Hilton M Square will feature a Diwali Edit Fashion Luxury Exhibition, showcasing an array of fashion designers, jewelry designers, and home decor items.

For comedy enthusiasts, October 25 will see the much-anticipated return of Romesh Ranganathan to Dubai. The acclaimed UK stand-up comedian will perform a special show at the Coca-Cola Arena, sharing his sharp wit and observational humor for one night only.

Music lovers can look forward to ‘The Unforgettables’, a tribute show dedicated to the late Jagjit Singh, running until October 26 at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium of the Indian High School. Tauseef Akhtar, a disciple of Jagjit Singh, will take to the stage to perform the maestro’s timeless hits.
