The iconic park in Coulommiers City, which had been closed for months due to recent flooding, has reopened, providing an ideal setting for nature and photography enthusiasts. To celebrate this, a photo contest has been organized, inviting residents and visitors to capture the treasures of this exceptional site until December 20th.
Participation in the contest is easy. Participants just need to post their photos on Instagram using the hashtag #LeParcDesCapucinsEnPhoto and tagging the official city account, coulommiersofficiel. Those who prefer privacy can also send their snapshots via direct message on Instagram before December 15th.
A jury will select ten photos from the submissions. These will then be put to a public vote on Instagram from December 16th to 20th. The results will be announced on December 20th at 6 pm. The top three photographers will receive a copy of the photography book ‘La Brie’ by François Thion.
This initiative by the City of Coulommiers encourages rediscovery of Parc des Capucins from a new perspective, paying tribute to the park’s resilience and timeless beauty.
