The emblematic park of Coulommiers City, closed for several months due to recent floodings, is once again open to the public. The city is commemorating the reopening of the Capucins Park with an exciting photography competition.
Running until the 20th of December, this contest invites residents and visitors alike to capture the treasures of this exceptional site on camera. Whether it’s the diverse fauna and flora, historical infrastructures or any other detail that underlines its beauty, the competition is open to all, professional photographers, amateurs, and heritage lovers alike.
To participate, entrants should post their photos on Instagram using the hashtag #LeParcDesCapucinsEnPhoto and tag the official account of the city @coulommiersofficiel. Alternatively, they can also send the photo via a direct message on Instagram before the December 15 deadline.
From the received entries, a jury will select ten photos, which will then be subjected to a public vote on Instagram from December 16 to 20. The results will be announced on December 20 at 6 pm, and the top three photographers will receive a copy of ‘La Brie’ a photography book by François Thion.
Through this initiative, the City of Coulommiers aims to help residents and visitors rediscover the Capucins Park from a new perspective, while celebrating the resilience and timeless beauty of the site.
