Chattels More, in collaboration with the Dubai Home Festival 2024 organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), has announced the winner of its prestigious Design Contest. This competition invited residents of Dubai to submit AI-created sofa designs intended for eventual sale in a store. Fargol Beheshti emerged victorious, winning the grand prize of AED 50,000 for his innovative design, ‘The Oasis,’ which encapsulates the essence of comfort and joy in the UAE.
Notable runners-up included Linda Sarrar and Ayesha Meeran among five talented finalists, including Sara El Batal and Salina Khawaja. Each participant wowed the judges with forward-thinking design ideas, leading to a competitive environment.
This marks the second consecutive year Chattels More has joined forces with Dubai Home Festival to host the design contest, encouraging an integration of creativity and AI in furniture design. The esteemed judging panel featured prominent figures such as Easa Al Gurg, Adrian Shaw, Mohammed Feras, and Emirati interior design influencer Manar Al Ali.
