
In 2024, Bahrain approved licenses for nine major development projects valued at BD 156 million ($414 million), covering nearly 387,204 square meters across the kingdom. The largest project, a twin-tower residential block in Capital Governorate, was valued at BD 54.454 million, making it the significant housing license of the year. Other projects include villas, new schools, a bank branch, a factory, and mixed-use developments. These projects reflect Bahrain’s dedication to fostering balanced growth and simplifying investment procedures to align with national economic goals aimed at enhancing livability and attracting capital. The projects span various sectors, including housing, education, banking, commercial, and industrial, reinforcing infrastructure and public services in line with broader strategic priorities.
