Police Scotland is appealing for information following the theft of an ATM from a shop located in the village of Bridge of Weir. The incident, which took place in the early hours of Monday morning, involved a well-executed plan by three individuals dressed in dark clothing, face coverings, and red gloves.

Around 3:55 am, officers were alerted to a break-in on Main Street. A Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck was used to ram into the premises, providing access for the suspects. Once inside, they removed the ATM and fled the scene in a grey Audi S3, leaving the pick-up truck behind.
Detective Constable Ryan McGuire stated, “This appears to have been a well-planned theft, and enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved. We believe the men may have travelled towards the Dalry area in the Audi.”
