An Arkansas man, Travis Eugene Posey, 45, changed his plea to guilty for the mass shooting at a grocery store in Fordyce, Ark. The shooting resulted in four deaths and 11 injuries, including two police officers. Posey pleaded guilty to four counts of capital murder and 11 counts of attempted capital murder. The sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 4. The incident took place at the Mad Butcher grocery store and left the small community shocked. Posey was armed with a 12-gauge shotgun and a pistol during the shooting, firing indiscriminately at people in the parking lot and inside the store. The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Legal actions have been taken against Posey by one of the injured victims seeking compensation.
