iOS 26 Beta 4 Revision Details
Apple has introduced a fresh build of iOS 26 Beta 4 with the updated build number, matching the recent public beta. According to Beta Profiles, iOS 26 Beta 4 was first distributed to developers under the build number 23A5297i, but it’s now updated to 23A5297m. In addition, Apple also rolled out initial public betas for iPadOS 26 and macOS 26.
The re-released iOS 26 Beta 4 now carries the build ID 23A5297m, replacing the initial 23A5297i. Users can seamlessly transition from the Developer Beta to the Public Beta by accessing Software Updates > Beta Updates.
The extent of changes in the re-released developer beta by Apple remains uncertain; however, minor tweaks beyond bug fixes are likely. This update follows the recent availability of the first iOS 26 Beta 4 for developers.
Changes in iOS 26 Beta 4
iOS 26 Beta 4 brought notable updates from the previous beta. Adjustments were made to enhance legibility, including a slight decrease in transparent UI elements and enhancements to the Liquid Glass design. Notification summaries for News and Entertainment were re-enabled after being disabled previously.
Further changes included modifications to the Camera app icon and Call Screening features. Navigation through the Notification Centre was improved in the initial iOS 26 beta 4 by darkening the background slightly to address legibility concerns reported by early testers.
Apple is anticipated to launch iOS 26, unveiled during WWDC 2025, alongside the iPhone 17 series this year. While details of the phone launch are pending confirmation, leaked specifications are already circulating online.
