In a tragic incident in the ASR district, Mallu Reddy brutally murdered his parents, Andala Sanyasi Reddy and Bhujamma, due to a property dispute. Mallu, suspected of having mental health issues, attacked his parents with a log at their farm shelter in Thurruwada village, resulting in their immediate death. The victims, Andala Sanyasi Reddy, 56, and Bhujamma, 53, residents of Thurruwada village, died on the spot. Mallu Reddy, the elder son, had frequent quarrels with his parents over suspicions of property distribution. Following the attack, Mallu Reddy fled the scene but was later apprehended by the Maredumilli police.
