Nine puppies rescued from flood-affected parts of Texas have been welcomed at the no-kill shelter of PAWS Chicago as part of a collaborative effort with Austin Pets Alive! The puppies were relocated to Chicago to provide much-needed shelter space in Texas. PAWS Chicago, known for its disaster relief program, has a history of rescuing animals after natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina. These rescued dogs are receiving medical care and love in anticipation of finding their forever homes in Chicago.
