Emirates Skywards has announced a partnership with HSBC Bank Middle East to launch new co-branded credit cards in the UAE. The HSBC Emirates Skywards Credit Cards will be available in two tiers, Signature and Infinite, designed for the more than 23 million Skywards members in the UAE. These cards will enable cardholders to earn additional Skywards Miles through various spending categories, including travel, lifestyle, and everyday purchases, alongside access to exclusive lifestyle experiences worldwide.
A key feature of these cards is that all Skywards Miles accrued will remain valid for the lifetime of the card, effectively eliminating expiration concerns. The partnership agreement was formalized in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, Sir Mark Tucker, HSBC Group Chairman, and senior officials from both organizations. Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, emphasized that this collaboration enhances the exceptional value that Emirates is known for, with an aim to enrich the customer experience for members in the UAE.
The new HSBC Emirates Skywards Credit Cards present an excellent opportunity for customers to increase their Miles earnings, enabling future expenditures on flight rewards with Emirates and partner airlines, upgrades, hospitality tickets for globally recognized sporting events, and many more exclusive privileges. Dinesh Sharma, Regional Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, WPB EMEA at HSBC, remarked on the UAE’s standing as a global travel and lifestyle hub, which attracts talented professionals. He noted that their travel-oriented clients will greatly benefit from this collaboration with the award-winning Emirates and flydubai loyalty program.
The HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite Credit Card provides a range of benefits, including a complimentary Silver Tier membership, a sign-up bonus of 20,000 Skywards Miles upon payment of the annual fee, and an additional 30,000 Skywards Miles when spending a minimum of AED 50,000 within 60 days of card issuance. Perks include complimentary beach access at premium hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, exclusive offers via the HSBC Entertainer app, discounts on Amazon and select cinemas, travel insurance, worldwide airport lounge access, and various discounts on other services.
