Stakeholders have a 15-day window to voice objections to the proposed rules, which do away with seat categories like balcony and premium. Despite earlier opposition from some multiplex operators, the movie industry groups in the state have shown support for the move. If no objections surface, the draft rules will be finalized for implementation.
