
dnata, a global air services leader, has deployed a fleet of autonomous electric baggage tractors at Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). This cutting-edge automation initiative enhances safety, efficiency, and ground handling operations. The AED 6 million investment includes six electric EZTow autonomous tractors that can tow up to four baggage containers simultaneously at speeds of up to 15 km/h. These vehicles operate at Level 3 automation, with plans to upgrade to Level 4 by 2026.
