Dubai has recently undertaken a bold tree planting project, setting a remarkable example of urban transformation. In just six months, they planted over 300,000 trees along major roads at a cost of AED190 million. More than mere landscaping, this initiative is reshaping the city’s identity and sustainability efforts. The selected tree species, smart irrigation systems, and strategic planning reflect a commitment to long-term environmental gains. This project aligns with Dubai’s future urban development plans and sustainability goals outlined in the Dubai 2040 Master Plan.
