On Saturday, Zahwa was found in Chadwell Heath Lane, Romford, after an assault that occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. Despite the prompt response of the London Ambulance Service, she tragically passed away at the scene. Investigation and Arrests
The Metropolitan Police launched a murder investigation and have since made four arrests. A 35-year-old man was apprehended on suspicion of assisting an offender on Sunday evening. Three others—a 35-year-old man on suspicion of murder, and two individuals aged 21 and 22—were also detained on charges of assisting an offender. Currently, all remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs commented, ‘Although we’ve made arrests, the local community will notice an increased police presence as our investigative work progresses. I urge anyone with information to come forward.’
