Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has shared the exciting news of welcoming his third child with fiancée Taya. The couple proudly announced the arrival of their baby boy, Ashton, via Instagram, delighting fans worldwide.
Meet Baby Ashton
The 27-year-old farmer revealed that Ashton was born on Thursday, August 14th, at 6:28 PM, weighing 6.13 lbs. Sharing an adorable photo of Ashton wrapped in a blanket and wearing a knitted hat, Kaleb wrote: “Baby number 3. Everyone meet Ashton. Born at Chipping Norton Maternity.”
A Growing Family
Kaleb and Taya are already parents to their son Oscar, 4, and daughter Willa, 2. The couple, childhood sweethearts since 2016, continue to expand their family while balancing their life on the farm. Kaleb proposed to Taya on Christmas Day 2022, and while they haven’t tied the knot yet, they are actively planning their wedding.
Behind the Scenes: Jeremy Clarkson Spills Details
The baby announcement followed Jeremy Clarkson spilling the news in his column for The Sun. Kaleb, Clarkson’s right-hand man on Clarkson’s Farm, reportedly received the call from Taya while harvesting a field. Despite his “farmerish” response of asking her to “hang on” until he finished the harvest, he made it to her side in record time to welcome Ashton.
In his column, Clarkson humorously revealed his baby name suggestion, only to have it vetoed. The field where Kaleb was working was called “Deadman,” making his choice unsuitable for the newborn.
Kaleb Reflects on Parenthood
In previous interviews, Kaleb has shared heartfelt reflections on fatherhood. He confessed feeling “useless” during the birth of his first child, Oscar, as he was uncertain how to support Taya. Drawing comparisons to his farm work, he quipped, “When I’m helping a cow, I know exactly what I’m doing. But during Oscar’s birth, I felt helpless seeing Taya in pain.”
However, Kaleb expressed his gratitude for becoming a parent at a young age, saying, “Having kids now means I’ll still have energy when they’re older. I can take them out on the tractors or head to the pub with them as they grow.” Looking ahead, Kaleb hopes to grow his farm and “chill out” after building a stable future for his family.
A Life Rooted in Love and Gratitude
Kaleb has always credited Taya for his success, sweetly remarking, “My other half is the reason I am where I am today.” The couple’s strong bond and family focus continue to inspire fans of Clarkson’s Farm and beyond.
