Security forces in Manipur successfully apprehended five militants, including three women from the KCP (Taibanganba), in Thoubal and Imphal East districts. Additionally, a PREPAK (PRO) cadre was also captured. During the operation in Imphal East, authorities made significant seizures of arms and ammunition. Governor Bhalla emphasized the continuous security measures aimed at reducing extortion and highlighted the confiscation of over 3,000 firearms in recent months.
