A significant fire outbreak occurred at a Bata showroom in Chembur during the early hours of Monday. The blaze affected various items including electric wiring, shoe stock, and installations in the ground floor and part basement of the Shiv Ashish Housing Society near Malhar Hotel. The fire service promptly responded to the Level-1 emergency call and successfully extinguished the fire by 7.50 am. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this incident.
